i recently read an article called "Details of lab-made bird flu won't me revealed" on yahoo.com. this aricle is about how the government asked scitetist to reaserch the probability of the mutation of the H5N1 flu virus and becoming a even bigger danger for people. scientists were surprised to see how easy the virus mutated and became easer to be transmitted from person to person.  then the government decided that they did not want the public to know about the activity of the scientist in fear that there would be bio attacts and some people might infect other people on purpose. even thouh they created this study to help people with the virus if it ever mutats they fear that it would be used for terrorist attacts in stead of its original purpose. I am a little upset that the government would not want us citizen to know about the new information. but t the same time i understand the logic behind their decision. but it was not as effective as they probably though it would be since there is an aricle out about it. i am also concerned that with the little bit of info that  is out about what the government is doing will be noticed and that maby someone will decide to hi-jac the fasilitly and create a whole new bio war. also i wonder if our government might use this new information to attack other contries if we have diputes. we might become the terrorist we are so afraid of. i also wonder weither they plan to see how this virus will effect humans. since there were probably no testing on humans in the reaserch how would they know accuratly or not that this strain of the H5N1 virus.

teen preganacy

Mr. Petro just recently recently asked a question to me and my fellow class mates. it sparked alot of controversy within my class one halph was on one side and the other the other.the question was about weither we believed that teens should be able to buy birth controle pills over the counter or should their be an age restriction. I think that females should be able to buy the birth controle pills over the counter. People always talk and scorn kids for getting pregnat. But how can they scorn them when they are not giving them the proper protection for them not to get pregnant. recently a law was passed that the age that you can buy the "Pan B" pill was incresed to 18 from 17 years of age. Even though the plan be pill is safe for all ages this law was passed. as we all know teens have sex. also we all know that most teens do not want to have a baby when they are teens. i know most adults know these two fact but it seems that they pay no attention to it. They want to think that is is everyone else kid and not theirs. when the truth is it probably is their child. they pass laws like this that does not help the problem it actually makes it a bit worse. Now the kids are doing it and they have no back up plan. or no way to prevent them from getting pregnant. 

another earth found

nasa says they have found another earth like planet that is some 600 hundred light years away. they found it beacause earth size planets whose orbital planes are aligned such that they periodically pass in front of their stars result in tiny dimmings of their host star’s light dimmings. so they watch suns until the light dimms and then they know that that star has a planet that orbits it. this undated handout artist rendering provided by nasa shows kepler 22 b a planet known to comfortably circle in the habitable zone of a sun star nasa has found the new planet outside our solar system that's eerily similar to earth in alot of ways. it has a star could almost be a twin of our sun. It likely has water and land. i think it is kind of cool and at the same time scary that we are looking at a 600 year old picture of that planet. the planet may have people or intelligent life on it by now and we would know if it has it now until 600 years from now and then it would be even more civilized than it was 600 years ago when we first found it. maby there are other life forms on this planet that already knew that we were there. maby they could teach us alot about  ourselves. maby they have created some kind of technology that does travel faster than light. they might have already figured out some new aspects to our science that would shatter all of the things we thought we knew. this discovery supports the growing belief that we live in a universe crowded with life. carnegies alan boss says. also nasa says that this planet is 2.4 times larger than our own. so if there is intelligent life forms on that planet they are bigger than us.

cell phones being taken in school

i just read an article in a lot of high schools they are banning cell phones. they are taking teen phones and not giving them back until the day is over. in the article i read it had a senior that hides her phone everyday and does not text in class. she just does not want to go through all of the risks that might happen when giving you cell phone into schools. she thinks that her cell phone might get stolen, miss placed, or broken by the people who are handling them or the students when they come to get them at the end of the day. she feels that she and other student should be able to keep their phone in school and that they have no right to take her and her fellow students phones. i agree i don't think that we should get our phone taken at school i think we should be able to keep them with us. i had an experience were i was late getting my phone because i was talking to a teacher about something important and the people who give out the phones left and i was not able to get my phone until the following day. why should they be able to keep the phone my parents pay for?. at least the should ask weither they can take the phones or not. i think that students should be able to keep their phones with them in school. i think school should tell students to turn their phones off but not be able to take them. that is the job of the parent to make the decision weither their kid should be able to have the phone and be able to use it. in a way it is kinda the schools raising peoples kids.

twilight premier

i love all of the twilight movies they are very entertaining to me. they have mystery, drama, suspense,
and romance. everythin that is needed to make a great movie in my opionion. the movie series is about a girls that movies in with her dad. she did spend summers with her father when she was younger. when she came back to live with her father because she didnt want to move to arizona with her mother. then she movew in with her dad and starts to date a vampire the rest of the movies go through there up and down ralationship also her love triangle with her childhood friend jacob. in the breaking dawn movie which is the latest to come out she is married to edward (her vampire boyfriend) and is on her honeymoon when he becomes pregnant. the baby in a vampire because of its father edward. but bella is still a human. the baby is killing bella and she still wants to keep it. bella wants to save her baby her plan was to have the baby when the baby is fully developed. but the trouble is that because bella is not a vampire the baby is like stone it is crushing her bones and taking all of the nutrience she needs to survive. when bella finally gived birth the baby breaks her back and because she is so week she breaks her knees because she has not had enough nutrience to sapport them. bella gives birth to a beautiful baby girl and it almost kills her we think that she is dead and so does edward he bights her in order to keep her alive and no one thinks it works because she does not move when they are getting her ready for her funeral the venim kicks in and bella is saved. but the story ends with the valatory want bellas baby.
